Volunteer Opportunities
At Olive Tree Early Learning Center, we offer a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities that allow you to make a difference in the lives of our youngest learners. Whether you’re interested in assisting in the classroom, lending a hand as a handyman, or helping in the kitchen during lunch, there’s a place for everyone to get involved. You can rock babies, share stories as a storybook reader, or bring your unique skills as a guest visitor to inspire and teach children about your talent or occupation. If you enjoy working outdoors, our gardening opportunities offer a chance to help grow something special. We also host special events where we welcome extra support. Join us at Olive Tree and help nurture the next generation!
Invest in our Childrens’ Future!
In Knox County, 30% of households with children are single-parent families and 60% with children under five are below the poverty line, according to the 2020 Census. Affordable, high-quality trauma-responsive early education is critical.
Low-income families across our community need developmental options with expanded hours for their children.
As a non-profit organization Olive Tree relies on our generous community for donations and grants to supplement the cost of providing high-quality trauma-responsible early education to all families in Knoxville regardless of income.
